Tacoma Yacht Club’s Daffodil Weekend is rapidly approaching, and we are delighted to invite you to join us in celebrating the annual Daffodil Marine Festival and Parade. This year’s theme, “Bloom Where the World Takes You,” promises a festive and memorable weekend for all.
Our basin crew will be ready to welcome visiting boaters beginning at 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 16. While we will make every effort to accommodate all boats, power cannot be guaranteed. Diesel generators may only be used if they do not pose a carbon monoxide risk to others. Please also note that we cannot guarantee pet-friendly shore access, so plan accordingly if traveling with dogs.
Thursday Evening, April 16
Kick off the weekend with Karaoke in the clubhouse from 7:00–10:00 pm. Arrive early, settle in, and join the fun!
Friday Evening, April 17
At 7:00 pm, we will hold a competition to determine trivia seating and Token Parade placement. At 7:30 pm, the celebration continues with music and dancing at our Neon Nights–themed dance party. The Daffodil Chair and Co-Chairs will award prizes for the best costume(s), so come ready to compete and dance the night away.
Saturday Afternoon, April 18
A highlight of the weekend is the Token Parade at 1:30 pm, followed immediately by Trivia from 2:00–4:00 pm. Please note the following trivia details:
- Bar snacks, beer, wine, and Daffy Drinks will be available
- Trivia will be pub-style
- Each club’s trivia team may include up to four people (including the Token)
- Teams will be seated at tables determined by Friday night’s competition
- Other club members will be seated around the ballroom to cheer on their team
Saturday Evening, April 18
At 7:30 pm there will be Live music and Dancing with the country/western band “Nic Cane”.
Sunday, April 19
The Flag Ceremony will take place at 10:00 am, and the weekend will conclude with the Decorated Boat Parade, starting at 11:30am, along the Tacoma waterfront. We can’t wait to see your creative designs!
Registration Information
- Each club must register (only once) MICHELLE WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS STEP
- Every boat, must complete an online registration form
- All festival participants must also register. Online registration is highly encouraged to avoid the lines, but registration at the door will be available

- Festival entry fee: $5 per person (due at check-in)
- Boat or RV registration: $25 non-refundable, due at registration
- Includes two complimentary entry passes
- No entry fee for children under 18
The registration deadline is March 21, 2026, or until capacity is reached. Please note that we are unable to accommodate boats over 65 feet in length.
